Bright Gun Metal Tamiya PS spray paint for Lexan and polycarbonate bodies

Tamiya PS-63 Bright Gun Metal is a spray paint developed specifically for clear Lexan and polycarbonate bodies on remote-controlled cars. The paint is applied to the inside of the body, so the polycarbonate protects the finish against scratches and knocks while driving.

The PS series is designed for flexible RC bodies and follows the movement of the material better than ordinary model paint. Once cured, the paint is also resistant to oil and fuel, so it can be used on bodies for fuel-powered RC cars as well.

How to use the paint

• Clean and degrease the inside of the body thoroughly
• Mask windows and areas that will be painted in other colours
• Paint the inside of the Lexan/polycarbonate body
• Hold the spray can approx. 30 cm from the surface
• Apply several thin coats rather than one heavy coat
• Let the paint dry between coats
