Compact brushless speedboat with 3S LiPo and self-righting

The Pro Boat Recoil 2 18" is a compact, fast deep-V RC boat that combines brushless performance with simple operation and effective self-righting. This version comes in the officially licensed Heat Wave livery inspired by Apollo Sunglasses: Blurr Customs.

The boat comes complete as an RTR with a Spektrum radio system, Smart 3S LiPo battery and USB-C charger. The factory-installed Spektrum Firma 2950KV brushless motor gives a top speed of over 25 mph – equivalent to over 40 km/h.

Self-righting straight from the transmitter

If the boat capsizes out on the water, the built-in self-righting function can be activated with a long press of a button on the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter. The boat then flips back upright so you can carry on boating.

Brushless power with water cooling

The Recoil 2 18" has a Spektrum Firma 2950KV brushless marine motor and a Firma 30A brushless marine ESC. Both the motor and ESC use water cooling to keep temperatures down during fast runs.

Spektrum Smart 3S LiPo and USB-C charger

The included Spektrum Smart 3S 1300mAh LiPo battery is charged with the included S120 USB-C Smart Charger. The Smart system automatically detects battery type, cell count and the right charge current, among other things. A typical charge takes less than an hour.

Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz radio system

The included Spektrum SLT3 radio system uses an SR315 dual-protocol receiver. The receiver also lets you upgrade later to a compatible DSMR transmitter with more functions.

Adjustable metal hardware

The boat is fitted with an aluminium prop strut and adjustable stainless steel trim tabs and turn fins. This lets you fine-tune the boat's handling to the water conditions and the running characteristics you want.

Break-away rudder

The rudder is designed to give way if it hits a solid object. This reduces the risk of damage to both rudder and hull. After an impact, the rudder can be pushed back into place and tightened again.
