Sanding Sponge Sheet 1500

Tamiya sanding sponge sheet, grit 1500

The abrasive layer sits on a flexible sponge backing, so the sheet is well suited to removing sprue marks and seams on plastic models and to finishing wood and metal. Because the sponge gives a little, you get an even finish on curved surfaces and into hard-to-reach corners. The sheet is easy to cut to the shape and size you need with a hobby knife, and it can be used for wet sanding.
