Designed with the sport flyer in mind, the Classic Ugly Stick 71 is a plane that is easy to fly and quick to assemble. The fuselage is conventionally built from quality balsa and plywood to make it stronger than the average ARTF, while the clever design keeps the fuselage surprisingly light. Most of the work has already been done for you. The pushrods are pre-made to the correct lengths, the engine mount is fitted, and the hinges are pre-installed and then secured for safety. Flying the Classic Ugly Stick 180cm is simply a pleasure. With reduced control throws, it is a good choice as an aileron trainer. Increase the throws and its ability for a wide range of aerobatics will delight even the most experienced sport pilot.
