The Seagull Supermarine Spitfire is a handsome scale model of the legendary "Battle of Britain" fighter, built from high-quality balsa and balsa plywood for a light and strong structure. The aircraft is covered in matt Oracover in an accurate and authentic colour scheme, giving a convincing scale appearance with a detailed canopy, carburettor and air intakes, and exhaust details.

The model has working split flaps with internal linkages, which give realistic flight characteristics and an appearance close to the original. The two-piece plug-in wings make transport and assembly easier, and a removable top hatch gives easy access to the power supply and switches.

The Spitfire is supplied without landing gear, but all the mounts needed for both glow and electric power systems are included. The aircraft is designed to deliver strong sport performance with a petrol engine, and it can also be converted to electric power for versatile use.
