Scania is world-famous for its large trucks and buses, and this is a 1/14 scale R/C model of the R470 Highline, a model from its R-series, winner of International Truck of the Year 2005.

The model has a ladder frame chassis with aluminium cross members and side channels, plus suspension with metal leaf springs and friction dampers.
The 3-speed gearbox lets you change gear from the transmitter. The characteristic shape of the truck body is reproduced down to the smallest detail. The cab tilts forward just like on the real truck, and the included mesh grille further enhances the realistic look of the model.

The coupler in the kit allows connection to any of Tamiya's currently available 1/14 scale trailers, and the R470 is also compatible with a wide range of tractor truck accessories.

Realistic lights, sounds and vibrations

A multi-function control unit is included to add lights, sound and vibration to your R/C truck experience. Engine sounds are digitally recorded from a real diesel engine and change to reflect the model's speed. Together with air brake release, horn, gear change and many other realistic sounds, it gives you the feeling of driving the real thing! Headlights, brake lights, fog lights, hazard lights and indicators are also at your fingertips.
