A new size of cutting mat in the same easy-to-use, odourless material as item no. 74142 (A5) and item no. 74144 (half A3). A4 is the perfect middle ground between compact and a good working area, and the mat has plenty of useful markings for model work.

The mat has 3 layers: a hard inner layer between two softer outer layers. This gives the knife blade a longer life and leaves minimal cutting marks. The front has grids, angle markings, curved and circular markings and a scale ruler, so you can easily switch between 1/1, 1/24, 1/32, 1/35 and 1/48, plus markings for cutting thin strips of masking tape. Very handy!
