Tamiya Lacquer Paint LP-8 Pure Yellow (gloss), 10 ml

Tamiya's bottled lacquer paint complements the well-known acrylic and enamel paints and the lacquer spray cans. Use it the way that suits you: airbrush large areas, or paint the fine details by brush. It forms a strong film and dries quickly overall, but starts drying slowly, giving you a smooth, flawless finish.

The colours look great with a deep gloss that is perfect for car and motorcycle models, and the strong film can be polished with polishing compound. For airbrushing, mix 1 part lacquer paint with 1-2 parts of the matching thinner and apply 2-3 passes over the part. Most colours can be handled after one hour and masked over 24 hours later, and because the lacquer is not attacked by enamel paint, it makes an ideal base for details, panel lines and weathering with washes, dirt and oil, especially on military models.
