Kyosho Tractor TL4 1/8 RTR

The Kyosho TL4 is a 1/8 scale tractor with a striking, modern design that combines stylish lines with a commanding presence. The model comes across as a new type of tractor where looks and power go hand in hand, and the removable, open cab lets you add your own "drivers" in both configurations, which makes the model more playable and easier to personalise.

The TL4 is designed with optional front and rear suspension brackets as well as space reserved for a rear-mounted drawbar frame and for fitting servos. This makes the model ready for a wide range of functional accessories, including snow ploughs and full trailer trucks (upgraded frames, snow ploughs etc. are accessories and are not included in this package). The tractor is also equipped with a controllable lighting system with several flashing modes that you can switch between freely.

The TL4 gearbox uses special angled V-shaped dual 775 motors and dual 880 ESCs as well as a 2-speed all-metal gear set. It can be upgraded to a maximum of dual 4274 motors for even more pulling power. Heavy-duty all-metal front and rear axles with 8mm output half-shafts ensure that the model can handle high pulling power.

The front and rear axles are controlled independently by a differential lock system that uses CROSSRC's unique fully servo-controlled mechanism, which is easy to install without adjusting the steering. The locking mechanism is all-metal and is reliable, durable and easy to maintain. The tyres are extra large – 185x60mm at the front and 215x90mm at the rear – and the rear tyres are prepared for external counterweights and a dual-wheel interface. Because of the difference in diameter and circumference between the front and rear wheels, the transmission is designed with asynchronous speed output to compensate for the difference and ensure smooth driving. The swing-axle suspension system of the front axle was developed with reference to the design parameters of real tractors to achieve the optimal steering angle, avoiding tipping while giving maximum articulation on uneven ground.
