GTR Long aluminium shock absorbers – green, complete set (4 pcs.)

Standard shocks tend to give up when your Mini Maxx lands hard for the fifth time in a row. These GTR shocks from Traxxas are made of aluminium with a smart green anodised finish — and inside they are PTFE-coated, so the piston glides smoothly all the way. The large bores hold more oil than the standard shocks, and you notice it in practice: the damping stays consistent, however rough the terrain gets.

The pistons are coated with titanium nitride. This makes them scratch-resistant, extends their life and removes the slight "sticking effect" (stiction) that otherwise makes small bumps noticeable. The X-rings keep the oil in and the dirt out. Want to make adjustments? The threaded spring collars let you adjust preload and ride height up and down in a moment, and the lower spring retainers have a locking screw, so the spring does not pop off in the middle of a jump. That's clever!

Do you have to assemble them yourself? No! The shocks come pre-assembled with springs, and the silicone oil is in the pack. Four of them, ready to bolt on — and your Mini Maxx is ready for slightly wilder terrain.
