Charging solved! Simple and fast. Plug in a couple of Traxxas iD batteries, press Start – and that is really all there is to it. The iD technology recognises the battery type and capacity by itself and sets everything correctly, so you avoid programming and fiddly setup. No fragile balance leads, no bulky balance plugs – the iD connector handles that for you. We at Hobbyviking think that is pretty smart!

The charger has 100 watts to work with, which equals 8 A of charging power. It charges two batteries at once with up to 50 watts (4 A) each – and happily one NiMH and one LiPo at the same time, so both your car and the kids' car are ready for the next run in the garden. In a hurry? Switch to High-Output mode and send all 100 watts (8 A) into a single battery. Traxxas iD LiPos of 4000 mAh or more charge almost twice as fast this way. Along the way you can follow the progress bar, and the charger beeps when it is done – while the built-in fan keeps the temperature down.

Got older batteries lying around? No problem. Advanced Mode gives you full manual control of the settings and therefore backward compatibility, so Traxxas Power Cell batteries with first-generation High-Current Connectors can be charged on their own or together with your iD batteries. Two built-in balance ports take care of conventional Traxxas LiPos with external balance leads, and the charger supports all Traxxas High-Current Connectors. When the car goes into winter storage, press one button and Storage Mode puts the LiPo at a safe storage voltage – which protects your battery investment!
