Traxxas EZ-Peak Plus 8 A charger for NiMH and LiPo 2-4S with iD

Powerful, easier and safer – that is the whole idea of the EZ-Peak Plus 4S. Here you get the EZ-Peak series combined with Traxxas iD technology, and in practice that means: plug in an iD battery, press Start, and the charger does the rest. It recognises the battery itself and selects the right settings, so you do not have to scroll through menus and program cell count and current. Is it easy? YES! While it works, you can follow the progress on the LED bar, and it beeps when the battery is ready – so you can safely go and work on the car in the meantime.

Under the shell there are 75 watts and up to a full 8 amps, and the charger is optimised for faster balance charging of LiPo. It takes 2S, 3S and 4S LiPo at up to 8 A, and NiMH batteries of 5-8 cells are charged at 4 A. The advanced high-resolution peak detection ensures that the battery gets a completely correct charge every time – neither too little nor too much. Is the LiPo pack going to sit on the shelf for a while? One press on Storage Mode, and the charger brings the battery to storage voltage. Clever, and it looks after your batteries in the long run.

Would you rather decide for yourself? In Advanced Mode you have full manual control over all settings. If you have older LiPo batteries with a separate balance plug, there is also a built-in balance port for them. And the large 40 mm fan keeps the charger cool, even when it is running flat out.
