Have you fitted a 540XL motor and put on Sledgehammer® tyres? Then you also know what happens when all that power has to go through the rear axles. These extreme heavy duty steel CV driveshafts are built for exactly that: to handle the torque from the 540XL motor and the grip that Sledgehammer® tyres dig in with. In short – made for high-power driving, where standard shafts struggle.

The shafts have a splined, telescoping constant velocity design that gives full movement through the entire suspension travel. This means you do NOT need to limit suspension travel to protect the driveline – just drive! They have 6 mm stub axles, and you get two complete, assembled shafts in the set, ready to go into the car. They are made for use with the Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit #9080.

These are genuine Traxxas parts, so they fit your Traxxas model first time, and installation is easy. Screws out, shafts on – and the rear end is ready for all the power you can send through it. Clever!
