That is why Traxxas has machined this rear shock tower from 7075-T6 aluminium – one of the strongest (and most expensive!) aluminium alloys there is. This means the mounting for your rear shock absorbers stays exactly where it should, no matter how hard you land.

And it looks good while doing its job. The blue-anodised finish matches the other blue aluminium parts on your Sledge, so the rear end becomes both stronger and better-looking in one go. Is it a genuine Traxxas part? YES! So it fits straight on – no file needed.
