Traxxas Stampede 4x4 1/10 HD VX3 Brushless 3S – RTR monster truck

The king of 1/10 monster trucks has brushless power — and you can feel it! The Stampede 4x4 stands tall, as a monster truck should, and with four-wheel drive it grips almost any surface. Fit a 3s LiPo, and the new Velineon system turns the power straight into acceleration and over 80 km/h — with no need to change the gearing first. On 2s, top speed is over 56 km/h. Burnouts on all four wheels? Yes please, it handles them without blinking.

Traxxas knows that 3s power takes its toll on a car. That is why the Extreme Heavy-Duty Upgrade Kit is installed at the factory: a stronger driveline, HD suspension arms and steel hub carriers. We at Hobbyviking are pretty excited about the new composite GTR shocks — they hold over 70 % more oil than the old Ultra Shocks, X-ring seals keep the oil in and the dirt out, and you set spring preload and ride height on the threaded collar. The spring retainers are secured with a screw, so they cannot pop off in the middle of a jump. That is smart!

The tyres are new too: Talon MXT with an angled tread that bites forward on loose gravel, and an open block design that sheds mud and small stones again. They come mounted and glued on monster truck wheels with removable centre hubs. The VX3 speed controller is fan-cooled and programmed with one press via Traxxas EZ-Set, and the V3200 motor delivers speed, power and good battery economy. See it in action here:
