The Hangar 9® Ultra Stick™ 10cc ARF is an essential part of every RC pilot's hangar, known for its outstanding versatility and simplicity. The design lets you choose from a wide range of power systems – from electric to internal combustion – without compromising its solid flight stability or its ability to handle many different types of flying. This compact version of the large 30cc model makes full use of any power system in its class and lets you fly everything from wild 3D to calm touch-and-go training in the same flight.

With the Ultra Stick 10cc you can fly sport, high-speed, precision aerobatics and 3D – all in the same flight. The proven design combines simplicity and versatility with modern updates, including top-quality materials, solid craftsmanship and excellent engineering. A special firewall template makes it easy to mount any of the recommended power systems accurately, whether gas, glow, two-stroke, four-stroke or electric. All the necessary hardware is included, so nothing stands in the way of a finished build.

The large, double-bevel hinged control surfaces let the Ultra Stick explore a wide range of manoeuvres, while the fully symmetrical wing gives excellent penetration in windy weather and a stable platform across a wide speed range. Quad-surface wing controls change the game by enabling lightning-fast rolls and loops, and landings become so predictable that you will just want to get back in the air. The plane can also be fitted with an optional set of lightweight floats for flying from water.

Lightweight Construction

Laser-cut, lightweight balsa and plywood construction, built to high standards, gives the simple Ultra Stick design exceptional durability. Genuine Hangar 9® UltraCote® covering, applied precisely at the factory, gives an easy-to-maintain finish that looks great from every angle.

Wide Flight Envelope

The low wing loading and practical design, combined with large control surfaces that can be set up with long throws, make the Ultra Stick an ideal plane for developing your piloting skills. Working flaps open up the versatile flight envelope even further and allow radio mixes and manoeuvres that are not possible with standard sport models.

Ready for Floats

The optional Carbon-Z® float set and wire mounting strut set fit exactly to the factory-installed mounting points in the belly of the Ultra Stick 10cc. Once assembled, the conversion from wheels to floats takes only a few minutes.

Dressed to Impress

You might not immediately think of wheel pants for a sport plane, but the Ultra Stick deserves them. Large wheels handle almost any flying field condition and give the plane a great look while letting it cope with anything.

Power It the Way You Want It

The Ultra Stick 10cc is designed for the Evolution® 10GX 10cc gas engine, an 11cc four-stroke engine or an equivalent brushless electric motor. Hardware for both of these options is included, along with an electric motor mount, so you get into the air faster.
