The large acrylic magnifying glass with 2X magnification makes small details clear, so you can work for a long time without tiring your eyes. Right behind the lens are 6 white LED lamps that put the light exactly where you are working. They run on 4 batteries (F20/D/UM1) and last for over 150 hours. The lamp and lens sit on an adjustable arm that is fixed to the work base itself.

The base is designed for modellers who work down to the smallest detail, but it is just as good for hobby work such as carving, painting, embroidery and beadwork, where good light and clear vision make the difference.
