The Porsche 956 Jägermeister is one of the most iconic endurance racing cars of the 1980s. It is directly derived from the legendary Porsche 956 Group C and is characterised by its main sponsor's unmistakable, eye-catching orange finish. It was developed to offer a well-balanced blend of power, reliability and aerodynamics. The aluminium monocoque chassis was paired with a powerful 2.65-litre twin-turbo Porsche engine capable of delivering over 600 HP. Rear-wheel drive and aerodynamics designed to ensure top-level performance completed the car's configuration. On track, the Porsche 956 reached a top speed of over 350 km/h. Even today, the Porsche 956 Jägermeister remains a symbol of the golden age of endurance racing.
