A larger version of the classic – stable, robust and easy to assemble

The FMS 1800mm Ranger is the grown-up sibling of the popular 1200mm model. This plane has made a big name for itself among RC pilots worldwide – beginners love it for its simple assembly and stable flight characteristics, and experienced pilots use it as a reliable weekend flyer with mild aerobatic capabilities. Despite a 50 percent larger wingspan, the Ranger keeps its DNA: short take-off in less than 3 metres, gentle cruising at 1/3 throttle with flaps down, and full STOL capability (Short Take-Off and Landing).

The construction is robust and very forgiving on landing. The patented spring-mounted nose gear and strong metal main gear absorb almost any landing shock, while the oversize wheels are designed for rough-field operations. With landing lights, navigation lights and strobes, the Ranger has a realistic look and can fly well into dusk. Optional floats let you fly from water. Assembly takes just 3-10 minutes – the screw assembly is straightforward and user-friendly.
