Rhino EMO X2 is a ready-to-run 1/8 crawler with a classic, tough off-road look and a competitive style. The body is made from strong, thickened PC plastic and has hidden mounting and a simulated racing driver in the cab. As standard, the car is fitted with a smart lighting system that is controlled independently via a single channel.

The chassis has a low centre of gravity layout with the battery placed at the front, so you can adjust the climbing characteristics by changing the battery size. The rear axle has a newly developed balance link that absorbs and distributes lateral loads during hard steering or climbing, so ball ends and suspension joints are better protected and the rear axle does not twist out of line.

The front and rear axles have a reinforced design, with one-piece steering link mounts and kingpins inclined at 8 degrees, which improve road feel and take load off the steering servo. The differential lock needs no adjustment and uses 100% of the servo travel, which means future transmitter upgrades will not risk burning out the servo. The system is self-lubricating, water- and dustproof, and the front and rear differentials can be locked independently for maximum flexibility when driving.

The gearbox is a two-speed unit with quick-adjust limited slip, adjusted simply by unscrewing the cover - without removing any screws. All shift and transfer gears are metal, and a powerful 775 brushed motor is fitted for both climbing and off-road driving. The wheels are lightweight nylon with the newly designed "COUGAR" MT tyres, developed with larger lugs and sipes for optimal grip, while still fitting standard 2.2-inch rims on the market. The car has 21 mm shock absorbers with CNC-machined hydraulic cylinders and threaded spring collars, as well as newly designed M4 ball-end mounts and steel steering links for a more stable suspension. All gears (except the spur gear) are metal, with ABEC3 bearings and cold-resistant nylon, tested at -30 degrees for reliable driving in all climates.
