Brutal power for your 1/5 scale basher. The Hobbywing EZRun MAX5 ESC paired with the iconic 5687-1100KV sensorless brushless motor — thoroughly tested, waterproof and built for 8S abuse in the Arrma Kraton/Outcast 8S, Traxxas X-Maxx, Losi 5IVE, HPI Baja and similar

This combo is Hobbywing's classic 1/5 scale power package in the original (G1) version — a sensorless setup without vulnerable sensor wires, which makes it particularly well suited to hard off-road bashing and wet conditions where you just want something that works.

The MAX5 ESC delivers 200A continuous and 1300A peak, accepts anything from 3S to 8S LiPo, and has a powerful switch-mode BEC (6V/7.4V, up to 25A peak) that easily drives large digital servos. Anti-spark, waterproof, dustproof. The 5687 motor is a 4-pole sensorless brushless monster motor with 5800W max output and 200A peak — Ø56mm × 87mm with an 8mm shaft.

The result: linear throttle response, wild acceleration and rock-solid stability under full load.
