This 15-tooth pinion in 32-pitch is one of the easiest ways to fine-tune your Traxxas model. With a different gear ratio you shift the balance between acceleration and top speed, so the car suits what you are driving on right now. That is clever when the surface changes from one weekend to the next!
The pinion fits 3.17 mm motor shafts, and the set screw is included in the pack — so just fit it and drive. Check the manual for your model first: it tells you which gearing combinations Traxxas recommends for your particular car.
