Tandem-axle boat trailer for Traxxas Disruptor
So how do you get your Disruptor down to the water in style? You strap it onto the trailer and tow it there — of course! The Traxxas 10650 is a fully detailed scale boat trailer, built specifically for the Disruptor. It is 78 cm long and has a tandem axle, so it rolls steadily behind your TRX-4 or Traxxas Ford Raptor R. The full-length frame is lightweight aluminium, so the tow vehicle does not have to drag any unnecessary weight, and the boat is held securely in place with elastic straps on the way.
At the shore the fun begins: back the trailer down the ramp, let the boat slide into the water and off you go. When the day is over, you pull it back up — the trailer has a mount for the Traxxas Pro Scale Winch (part no. 8855, sold separately), so the winch does the work while you steer. That is smart! There is also a fold-down support leg, so the trailer stands neatly when unhitched, and the light lenses are LED-ready if you want tail lights that glow when you brake on the driveway.
The tow hitch has adjustable height and is included, so it suits both the tall crawler and the pickup. We are quite taken with the level of detail — it looks like a real boat trailer right down to the smallest bits. Shall we meet at the lake?
