Is your 1/16 model still running a brushed motor? Then this is where the fun begins. The Velineon 380 motor is built specifically for 1/16 scale and delivers more power than comparable brushed motors — the same power, run after run, without running out of breath after a few laps of the garden. The power comes from sintered neodymium magnets that withstand very high temperatures and give huge torque that builds up in a linear way. You feel it as pull all the way from standstill to top speed!

And the throttle? Smooth and precise. High-frequency transistors and a well-designed circuit make sure the car does exactly what your finger tells it — not a notch more. The motor is an 8-turn with 4000 Kv, it runs on efficient ball bearings, the rotor is precision-balanced, and the stator uses silicon steel laminations. All of it is packed into Traxxas' own design, which needs minimal maintenance. If it does get tired after many seasons, it can be taken apart and rebuilt. That is smart!

The finish is blue-anodised and matches your other blue Traxxas parts, the screws have hex sockets, and the Traxxas High Current battery connector is an integral part of the system — resistance is kept low all the way from connector to motor, so the power can flow freely. Now you are ready to give your little car something to bite into!
