Build it yourself and watch the fish swim around

We think the mechanical aquarium from Ugears is a really clever design.

The two fish chase each other around the little fishbowl, and the level of detail is simply impressive – the designers have thought not only about the fish but also about making the surroundings as realistic as possible.

To start the model, wind the knob under the aquarium about 25 half-turns, move the switch from "STOP" to "SWIM" mode, and then watch your mechanical aquarium come to life!

The mechanism contains an internal pendulum that regulates and smooths the movement. You can stop the model at any time, or just let it run and enjoy the movement of the automaton fish and the leaves for about 40 seconds.

An impressive kit and a great gift idea for anyone with puzzle-loving fingers. Better still, you can build the model without any glue or special tools.
