The battery is Traxxas' 2872X Power Cell with 3 cells, 5000 mAh, 11.1 V and 25C – and the charger is the EZ-Peak 2970, which charges at 4 amps. Both are built for the Traxxas iD system, so it all happens with one press of one button.

Do you need to be a battery expert? No! And you don't need to click your way through complex menus either. You plug in the iD battery, press Start – and the EZ-Peak charger does the work for you. The result is faster, easier and, not least, safer charging of your Traxxas Power Cell LiPo batteries. Now that's smart!
